Below are the Workshop Tracks available this year!

Owning the Business

A small business owner has many broad and diverse tasks and responsibilities that are essential for starting and managing a successful business. The workshop track will focus on a variety of subjects important to the owner – Making your Numbers Sing and Dance with Dr. Robert Joselyn, how the new tax law changes impact your business, data security and even thinking about an exit strategy for your business.

Niche Markets

A niche market is the subset of the travel market on which specific travel products are focused. This workshop track will highlight the active and adventure travel market, the luxury travel market and also the group travel market. If you want to develop a niche market in your business, this workshop track may be perfect for you.

Business Travel

Business Travel programs are designed to meet the business needs of the corporation plus ensure the corporation has happy travelers. This workshop track will discuss a variety of business travel subjects such as designing an RFP, how to accelerate sales leads, the Bleisure content and how to “glocalize” your capabilities. There will also be a deep dive into sorting through the variety of reports to help manage overrides.

Social Media

Social media marketing refers to the process of gaining traffic or attention through social media sites.  If you are new to social media marketing, join the Quick Starter workshop.  If you have already had success with social media, join the 201 and 301 level workshops. There will be a workshop level that fits everyone.

Lets Focus on the Customer

By definition, a customer is a person that buys goods or services from a store or business. This workshop track will focus on selling and servicing the customer of your travel business. Workshops will discuss Making it to the Finish Line with the FIT Customer, turning a customer complaint into an opportunity, the evolution of luxury travel, how to gain professional respect from your customers with a strong service fee program.  A wide variety of subjects for a wide variety of customers.

Group Travel

Do you want to earn your commission a hundred dollars at a time or thousands of dollars at a time? Group Travel is a lucrative specialty that is in high demand. Join us to learn marketing strategies for your group business and how to perfect your skills within the group travel segment.  The new Certified Group Travel Specialist Program makes its debut, join us for this workshop to learn how you can specialize in group travel.
